RemSoft.Dev team brought together everything that’s required to build websites and apps that accept payments in Angola. AppyPay products power payments for online and in-person retailers, subscriptions businesses, software platforms and marketplaces, and everything in between.As part of our service we provide visibility through our portal that can be accessed from any browser and any device.

Our .NET team took part in development process from scratch. Our team lead was sticked to scrum, defined business goals with the business owner, described and assigned tasks to developers. Our team was communicating with business analysts, QA team and banks.

As a result, a payment gateway for different banks and payment systems was created successfully and AppyPay became a pioneer in the industry.

RemSoft.Dev team created a web and a desktop applications from scratch, which operating with BigData and are HighLoaded. The system makes a calculations of the best setup of the voltage transformer depend on the input and output params. During the calculations applications operating with trillions of calculations, generating hundreds gigabytes of logs and data in DB.
During development, we faced a lot of issues, such as concurrent operations. multithreading, async operations, high load read/write operation to the disk and DB. All issues were successfully resolved as we have made a lot of performance improvements to satisfy the customer needs.

The project had a lot of performance issues, like a big utilization of CPU/RAM/DISK, long query running on DB, manual deploy to prod servers, no SOLID/DRY in code. RemSoft.Dev team was responsible for cleaning up the code, reading of copy-paste, creating a new scalable architecture, moving the project from on premise to cloud, upgrading the code, creating DevOps: preparing environments for different roles, creating automation scripts and code fixes, setting up pipelines on Octopus Deploy, versioning and fixing security gulps. Also, one of our developer was leading a team of 2 devevelopers, BE and FE and 2 QAs. Also he was responsible for communicating with the client side to provide the best solution. There is no link as it is an internal system.
